This sake is made from Awamori "Shuriten" produced by Mizuho Shuzo and Okinawan shikwasa juice. It is characterized by the mellow aroma and richness of Awamori and the refreshing and clean aftertaste of Shikwasa juice. The richness of Awamori and the sourness of Shikwasa give it an exquisite taste that makes it easy to enjoy the delicacies of Okinawa.
*Awamori is a traditional Japanese distilled spirit originating from Okinawa. It is made from a variety of grains, including rice and wheat, using a unique process.

Founded in 1848, Mizuho Shuzo is the oldest existing Awamori brewery in Shuri(Okinawa), and continues to stick to the traditional method of making koji by hand. Awamori "Shuriten" is an awamori with the original heavy flavor, unique aroma, and richness of black koji malt, made into an easy-to-drink mild flavor.
