This set allows you to compare the flavors of the four seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter. The set includes four types of sake: special honjozo in spring, karakuchi in summer, junmai ginjo in fall, and daiginjo in winter.

In 1875, Kamekichi Kondo, the founder of the company, started a sake brewing business under the trade name "Tanakaya" in Omama-cho, Gunma Prefecture, and has since focused solely on dry sake using the underground water of Mt.
Akagi, and was marketed under the name "Akagi" because of its location at the foot of Mt. Akagi. Later, the name was changed to "Akagi Masamune" and then to "Akagisan" to match the famous moon of Mt.
The brewing water at the foot of Mt. Akagi is ideal for light and dry sake. Akagisan Karakuchi" for heated sake and "Akagisan Nama-Shu" for chilled sake.
