Nishijin textile" is a tradition that has been cultivated in the long history of Nishijin - Kyoto.
At Nekado - we carry on this tradition - and with the motto of producing high quality products while incorporating the latest trends - our skilled craftsmen carefully and painstakingly weave and sew everything by hand.
We aim to produce the highest quality products through repeated research on everything from the selection of raw threads to weaving techniques - fabric color tones and patterns - sewing techniques - and more. Nekado's greatest feature is the "necktie that is truly easy to wear and the most comfortable for Japanese people to use -" making the most of the delicacy and luster that only Nishijin brocade can offer.
All production is done in Kyoto.
