Sadly it doesn't look like individual tourists will be allowed until next spring now. Lucky for me, I'm married to a Japanese lady so I have a family visitor visa.

i thought japan recently passed laws that nerfed the viability of airbnbs and now the few that still exist are just as expensive as hotels :s thats what i heard anyway
