Oh man, those bloopers were so funny :D

I believe they do the TV pass cards, because many business people are staying in the hotel at their company's expense. The pass card allows the salaryman to purchase whatever TV or movies they want, without it showing on the company expense bill. Thus maintaining privacy, which is even more important in Japan.

I entered the video and expected a normal hotel experience, and that's what I got haha! Even all of the horrible accidents/bloopers at the end is part of inexpensive hotels, kind of like an unexpected trade off of sorts (I once had to lay a playstation my parents bought me while traveling on my travel case, and it almost fell down 😅that's what happens when you desperately try to game in a hotel room as a kid). I also have to say I didn't expect the phones! sad that the call selection is limited, but beats having no connection to the outside world.

all the cool features you presented definitely make up for the horrible wallpaper and carpet 🤣

1,000-yen to rent a computer is really not a bad price. For a “standard” hotel, this is really a cute little room and would be a great place to crash for a few nights. I was shocked by all that floor space 😮

I don't think I want to spend that much time in the room. Wehn I am in the room I want it to be clean. comfortable and has plugs and a private bathroom. That is the kind of place I would stay at. A safe reasonably priced room and the nearby transportation is a bonus. The smart phone WOW. Meal included on site. oh yeah I would stay there

I loved some of the hotels I got to stay at while they were doing the Go To Travel campaign. 4 star hotels for hostel prices. Was amazing!

I love these videos! I’ve stayed in my fair share of hotel rooms around the world, and those Japanese hotel rooms look quite nice. Certainly nicer than some of the inexpensive hotel rooms I’ve rented in places like London, Paris, or Berlin.

After college, I met up with three friends in Berlin for a week. We figured we could get a decent room if we pooled our money and got one big room instead of getting separate rooms. The room was a decent size — it had three narrow single beds and a sofa that was about the same size as the beds — but the problem was the bathroom. There was a toilet, there was a shower, there was a sink. What wasn’t there was a wall. The toilet, shower, and sink were right there in the room. Not ideal for four college friends. Amy hotel room that has walls around its bathroom is a nice hotel room, as far as I’m concerned!

I never stayed in a Hotel in Asahikawa because I have a house, so I was not aware of the features of this hotel, I love the station it is quite new, I remember the old one falling apart and the great mall.
