Roppongi in Tokyo is one of the most well known neighborhoods in Tokyo for it's night club scene, but it's not as sleazy as it's image makes it out to be. Roppongi is home to two mega developments including Tokyo Midtown and Roppongi Hills. Roppongi is also where many of the foreign embassies are located in Tokyo, and therefore Roppongi has many international restaurants, including Russian food. Good video on Roppongi. 👍🏻It has an interesting contrast. Daytime versus nighttime. Then the sketchier nightclubs with their hustlers versus the office buildings with some high end shops and restaurants. Best advice to tourists in the area, who aren't interested in the nightclubs, is to avoid walking near them or just walk fast. I know the questionable ones usually look for foreign males, especially ones who are solo. Use common sense and don't go in, then you won't be overcharged there. During the winter, Roppongi Hills and Midtown have some beautiful nighttime illuminations or light shows.

Don't go to Roppongi for nighlife... go to Shibuya or Shinjuku.

Roppongi is full of foreigner oriented bars and sleazy venues with touts outside trying to pull you in. Best avoided!

oh man i do not like the nightlife in tokyo because of the ppl who's trying to pull you into their clubs
