Making better castings more efficiently
Nosaku is a casting manufacturer that carries on the tradition of Takaoka copperware.
In Takaoka-douki, a prototype maker molds the original model of the statue, which is then replaced with a mold made of sand.
Then, molten copper is poured into the mold, which is removed from the mold and polished, colored, and carved (engraved or inlaid). After these processes are completed, the product is finally finished.
Each process is a division of labor, and each requires superior skills.
