What is Kiyomizuyaki?
Kiyomizuyaki is produced in limited quantities because most of the process is done by hand, and the absolute number of pieces that can be produced is small.
Kiyomizu-yaki continues to produce pieces with a light finish that fits comfortably in the hand, and with excellent design that is comfortable to use. It can be said that the individuality of each artist and kiln is put into each piece, which is characteristic of high-mix, low-volume production."
